The Orb of Gravity allows the player to ignore Gravity, and places turn-by-turn restrictions on monster movement based on how the player moves.
The current gravity effect will be shown as a rain-like effect (if monster display mode is set to 3D)

These effects are applied regardless of whether the move would be allowed without the orb.
